The social domain through the eyes of Delft residents

In Delft, various social partners work together to support residents in vulnerable situations. What do the residents of Delft find important? In this project we discovered opportunities for better service delivery from the perspective of residents. How? Make sure (access to) services feels human, is understandable, and helps them move forward.

In collaboration with Gemeente Delft, Delft Support, Delft voor Elkaar, and Werkse! we developed a guide for professionals based on context mapping research. This guide shows ‘the social domain through the eyes of Delft residents’. We mapped needs and experiences through 30 interviews with inhabitants in a vulnerable situation. This forms the basis for advice, opportunities and new ideas to improve access to services in Delft.

Four personas tell their stories

Step into the shoes of our four personas: the Stragglers, Support Seekers, Pathfinders and Map Readers. In the guide, you’ll read the interview with each persona. Their story is based on participant stories. Complementing each interview, you’ll find advice on how each type of resident was best helped.
