We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Social Design Summer School. This unique educational opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in social design methodologies and integrate them into your own (design) practices.
Throughout this four-day course, you will work on a project to be showcased at the Dutch Design Week (DDW). Together with us, you’ll focus on components an installation for DDW 2026. Join us to explore what makes encounters meaningful, learn how to facilitate such interactions, and contribute to creating positive social change.
Muzus is known for creating eye-catching installations and exhibits at the DDW. Between Signals and Meaningful Encounters are two of them. We believe in the magic of co-creation. By bringing together creative minds and fostering collaboration, we transform ideas into powerful concepts together.
About this event
Creating positive social change
Social design is a powerful tool for creating positive social change. It addresses critical societal challenges, promotes inclusivity and sustainability, empowers communities, and drives solutions centered around the needs of the target audience. By integrating social design principles into various aspects of society, we can build a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable future. Because of this, we see social design becoming more important for all design disciplines.
Meaningful encounters are at the heart of social design. But what defines a meaningful encounter beyond the screen? When can it truly exist, and what is required to facilitate one?
Join our Summer School to explore the concept of meaningful encounters from diverse perspectives and enhance your understanding of social design.
